The
Entropy Collection

For some reason I have found myself obsessively collecting, ordering and displaying. The result of this baffling behaviour is a series of collections of objects called The Entropy Collection.

I predominant;y use waste material, e.g. discarded tapestry wool. The constraints and limitations these materials present and the sculptural potential of crochet have set up "rules of play".

(C) 10* + T = P

where,   C= collecting, T= tinkering, P= preciousness

*amount collected.

I acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land upon which I live and work. I pay respect to the Aboriginal Elders past and present and, in the spirit of reconciliation, acknowledge the enormous contribution Indigenous people make to the art and culture of our nation.
